The heat is on

SO we arrived in CAlifornia a bit later than we planned after a diversion involving refuling on an unplanned stopover in Colorado Springs, and then sitting on the runway for 2 hours, but all in all we made it to Granna and Papa's house Yippee. When we landed at 9 pm it was 95 degrees outside! Wowzers.
Neither of my girls slept during our 12 hours of travel time and both were cheery, though Taliah promptly fell asleep on me when we arrived.
Today was 104 degrees and we went in the pool a few times, but I am eating fresh apricots from my parents tree, nectarines, corn on the cob and watermelon that reminds me I am in the "bread basket of the world". What a blessing to visit family.
The pics are courtesy of my Dad who has been snapping away since the plane landed

Oh my goodness! You were sitting bored in my city for HOURS? SOOO wrong Svea. I could have come and kept you entertained while they were refueling the plane! I'm SURE security would have let me through!
