New traditions
We started a new tradition in ourhome this week. on the first snow of each year we will make homemade soft pretzels. Eiley was so excited and loved every minute of making the dough, forming shapes and of course eating the yummy chewy pretzels with honey cinnamon glaze.

That sounds like an awesome tradition, love it!
Something I started with my kids a few years ago was every year on their birthday they get to skip school and we head out for a full day of doing what that special kid wants to do, they love it and look forward to it all year!
awww that's perfect. i totally could get into implementing fun tradtions for my wee family. i got this great book from steph one year and its all about ideas for silly and sweet traditions.
hmmm...think i must pour meself a bubble bath and crack open that book.

What a great idea Svea! It's neat to start family traditions other than the regular holiday ones. I must admit I felt a tad guilty reading about it as my mind has not been too focused on stuff like that lately, but it's inspiring for when things are a little more settled!
